RECOMMEND A PROGRAM
IRL is seeking to develop new programs that help retreat centers meet the needs of their communities. If you want to suggest a new program area for Itinerant Retreat Leaders to consider, please contact Patrick Cleary-Burns, IRL’s Executive Director by email.
When IRL receives a suggestion, we will contact partner retreat centers and ask their thoughts. Then we will contact ministers who serve the group the program would target. If both agree that such a program would help the retreat centers meet unmet or significantly underserved needs, IRL will research it further and the Board of Directors will determine if the program is the right next step for the organization to take.
Throughout this process Patrick Cleary-Burns, IRL’s Executive Director, will let the person who suggested it know what the progress of our inquiries are and how and when IRL will be able to develop the program. If we discover that there is already a retreat program serving the group, we will pass that information on to those who suggested it and post the referral information on this web site.
Most of all, we will pray in thanks for the suggestion and in hope that the ‘lost sheep’ targeted in the suggested program are being cared for by God’s People.
