Itinerant Retreat Leaders is happy to introduce some very talented, insightful men and women who can lead IRL retreat programs at retreat centers across the country. Leaders are being recruited to lead a specific retreat program.
The Deployment Ministry
This is the newest IRL program. It will utilize leadership teams. Participants in these teams are still being recruited.
Retreats for Those Who Have Suffered Trauma and/or Loss
di fillhart is from Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. di is the co-director of Pnuema Winds of Hope. She has led recovery and resiliency retreats for survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
Stuart Hoke is from New York City and Durham, NC. Stuart was in one of the Towers on 9/11 and has led workshops and retreats for 35,000 Ground Zero survivors and volunteers. Stuart is an Episcopal priest and is currently the Chaplain of General Seminary
in New York.
Retreats on a Spirituality of Enough – A Biblical Approach to Simplicity
Kathy Clark is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is the Associate Director of Church World Service/CROP for Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia, a United Methodist minister and mother of six young adults.
Lea Pascotto lives in Fort Myers, Florida and serves as the Director of Religious Education at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord. Through these many moves around the country, Lea has learned to carefully discern God’s calling.
Sabbath Retreats
For Ministers:
Lee Goodwin lives in Marinette, Wisconsin and is the Director of The Sabbath Project, a ministry of the Northern Great Lakes Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Rev. Dr. Goodwin has been an ELCA pastor for 27 years.
For Caregivers and Those in Caring Professions:
Kim Langley lives in Lakewood, Ohio and is President of Life Balance Enterprises. She does corporate and institutional training seminars focused on a healthy balance between productivity and self-care. She is also a certified pastoral minister and long-time
religious educator.
Christopher Copeland lives in Durham, North Carolina and is the Spiritual and Creative Director of Illuminating Paths, a practice of accompanying individuals, groups, and communities on their spiritual journeys using the tools of rituals, embodiment, spiritual
practices, and discernment. He also serves as a member of the leadership team of the Alliance of Baptists.
For Parents:
Robin Craig lives in Cleveland Heights, Ohio is a spiritual director, retreat leader, and candidate for Ordination in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Robin and her husband are the parents of three children, one recently deceased and two in graduate school.
